Comic books are VERY educational.
I remember an annual—an Armageddon 2001, I believe—that revealed the Byrne-era Superman was legally considered to have been born in the United States, allowing him to run for and be elected President. Who knows what his status is in the New 52 though.
But Obama ran and he wasn't born in the U.S....allegedly! Lol
